Many plastics and chemical companies invest heavily in fossil plastics, STEPS mapping shows

The largest international plastics and chemical companies are fighting back when the rest of the industry is restructuring for a green transition. Instead of green investments in recycling or biobased plastics, new investments are being made to expand fossil-based activities. This according to new research from STEPS that has mapped the companies’ rate of expansion over the past decade.
